Good turnout for our competition last weekend considering Saturday was a lousy day with showers all day. 10 competitors weighed in on the day with the top 2 only separated by 0.2 points. There were some good catches with blue swimmers, flathead, whiting, luderick & bream appearing on the scales. “MASTER CHEF” Ray Bates did a great job on the barbecue. Thanks to the Gosford RSL catering staff for supplying a delicious luncheon.
Top competitor by the smallest of margins on the day was Adam Overton with 153.0 points, followed in second place with a score of 152.8 points by Scott Russell. Antony Wardle came third with 100.6 points.
Top junior on the day was Toby Russell with 66.4 points and Ayden O’Connor was second with 29.4 points
