Hi everyone.
The weekend was the setting for the first round for our Annual competition against Bateau Bay Hotel fishing club.
Tough weather over the weekend restricted a lot of the offshore people to the estuary and some of our
fishos did a great job in very trying conditions.
1st for RSL was Dean Wetherill on 306 points.
2nd. Scott Russell 285 points.
3rd. Toby Russell 190 points.
This helped the RSL to a first round win.

Dean, Helena, Scott and Stephen.
We even saw three Generations of the “Brown Family” weigh in today.
A massive effort by all our fishos,helpers,cleaner uppers & everyone else who helped to make it a great day. Many thanks “AGAIN” to our “Master CHEFs” Ray Bates and Noon for doing an excellent job on the BBQ and David Craig
for his generous prize donation.
We’ve got a lead and this could be a great chance for us to actually win the competition this year, so hopefully we get another great turn out for the return leg!
